UCX‐7 Upgrade kits are for upgrading the electronics of existing customers to UC7 from previous iterations.   The previous system must have the hydraulics plumbed in parallel.  It is assumed that the previous hydraulics stay in place. 

UC4+ and UC4.5 Upgrade

To upgrade a UC4+ or UC4.5 system to UC7, remove the roll sensors and brackets, and the control panel (located in the cab).   Replace the height sensors and brackets, all cables and wiring including the cables connected to the valve block with the components included in the upgrade kit. When upgrading from a UC4+ or UC4.5 system, a display will be needed for the UC7 system to run.  If the customer has an existing UT, the corresponding display kit must be purchased.  If the customer does not have a UT, a PULSE display kit must be purchased.   

UC5 Upgrade

To upgrade a UC5 system to UC7, remove the roll sensors and brackets, control module (located in the cab), input module (located on the boom), and valve module (located on the valve block).   Replace the height sensors and brackets, all cables and wiring including the cables connected to the valve block with the components included in the upgrade kit. A new display kit will be needed to run the UC7 system on the customer’s existing display.
